Military Support
FIGHTING THE NEXT BATTLEFRONT
For active military and veterans, the mental health statistics are sobering. In one of the most extensive studies on mental health risk among the U.S. Military, the rate of major depression among soldiers was five times as high as in civilians, and the rate of PTSD was nearly 15 times higher.
These invisible wounds can have devastating effects on veterans and their families. Our military affected with depression can exhibit higher rates of other unhealthy behaviors, higher rates of physical health problems, and higher rates of suicide.
We are here to support our military community through peer groups, 1-on-1 peer support, events and activities, and softball teams.
